The Danby Wine Cooler – Designed For Wine Lovers
For those who do not drink too much wine, or who are not particular with regards to the temperature that a
bottle is served or even whether it is red or white wine, a normal refrigerator might do for chilling a bottle or
two. If you ask these people whether they feel the need to get a wine cooler or wine refrigerator, they would say
such a thing was unnecessary. However, for the discriminating wine lover who actually has specifications as to the
type of wine served as well as how it is served, a wine cooler is necessary. And not just any wine cooler, but a
Danby wine cooler.
The first thing you would notice when seeing a Danby product is how cool it looks. Whether it is of a plain
black design or framed with silver, it just looks very appealing. Added to this is the glow derived from the
interior light, making the prospect of wine drinking all the more alluring.
A Danby black 35 bottle wine cooler has a temperature setting of 6 to 14 Celsius or about 43 to 57 Fahrenheit.
This is below room temperature but not quite as low as most regular refrigerators. And at below $250, it is very
affordable. You would be hard pressed to find another wine cooler that is as spacious yet as low priced as this
one.
A variation of this is the Danby DWC357BLP, also for 35 bottles. It emits a blue LED light, giving a nice glow
for viewing wines. If you need more heavy duty coolers, there is the DWC518BLS Silhouette 51 that can go down to as
low as 4 degrees Celsius and as high as 18 degrees Celsius. It has two compartments, so that you can chill your red
and white wines at different temperatures. This also has a blue LED for lighting.
But even a 51 bottle cooler will not do for those true blue collectors out there. This is why the DWC166BLSRH
was made. It holds at least 90 bottles, and is of the height of a regular refrigerator. It can be built in to the
wall of your kitchen or any room in your house, or it can be placed on its own as well. Temperature varies from 4
to 18 degrees Celsius, and there are also two compartments for varying temperatures.
If you are in fact a wine enthusiast, look no further than a Danby wine cooler for your cooling
needs.
